Jeremy Cowart - Founder / Creative Director

Named the “Most Influential Photographer on the Internet” by Huffington Post and Forbes in 2014, Jeremy brings a unique background to the hotel industry. He has spent his career studying all things visual, branding, creative and story.  Jeremy has published four books and is a sought-after speaker, having presented at TEDx, the United Nations and creative conferences across the country. His mission is to explore the intersection of creativity and empathy. That exploration has resulted in many ideas including a global photography movement, Help-Portrait, a mobile social networking app called OKDOTHIS, an online teaching platform, See University and none bigger than his favorite idea, The Purpose Hotel. He lives in Franklin, TN with his wife Shannon and their four chidlren.

Michael Moore - Founder / CEO

Michael Moore is Co-Founder of The Purpose Hotel. Michael oversees The Purpose Hotel’s development, planning and operations. Michael is spearheading supply chain and technology development as well as working with founders on building out capital financing for the startup and operation of The Purpose Hotel as a chain. Michael has a background in management across areas such as entertainment, education, communications and technology development. He has a 20 year career in management consulting for startups and large corporations and enjoys navigating growth and team building. Michael enjoys the people aspect of company building best, especially in long term corporate growth projects that are challenged with organic growth as well as mergers and acquisitions. Michael is a partner in Treeline Bamboo Partners which is a project management organization which oversees and leads communication and technology projects along with the creative teams that execute those projects. He is a serial entrepreneur and is also working in curriculum development for a Chinese / American high school program as a project of passion. Michael lives in the Nashville, Tennessee area with his wife and children.
